Job Description
48% of mortgage foreclosures in the U.S. are caused by financial hardship due to critical illness, while only 3% result from death. We protect families from financial devastation by offering mortgage protection plans that cover unexpected medical illnesses (i.e. heart attack, stroke, cancer) and death.
As a Mortgage Protection Agent, your primary role will be to build strong relationships with potential clients who have requested information about protecting their mortgage and family. This involves making regular phone calls to warm leads, effectively explaining the benefits of our mortgage protection plans, and converting leads into clients.
Agents benefit from a steady stream of exclusive, qualified leads, eliminating the need for cold calling. There are no restrictions on lead distribution or appointments, allowing agents to earn as much as they desire.
We work exclusively with 15-20 of the top-rated insurance carriers in the U.S. (out of 800+) that offer living benefit products. This unique focus enables agents to close deals effortlessly and without high-pressure sales tactics. These products are often priced at the same or lower rates than traditional life insurance.
Our priority is to help new agents get started and begin earning income as quickly as possible.
Join our team and make a positive impact on people’s lives. Together, we can help countless families avoid financial ruin and ensure their future security.

Yes, agents are paid by commissions through our carrier partners on the products they sell. In addition, Equis also offers our agents and managers a monetary, monthly bonus for those who qualify.
How much can a new agent make?
An agent’s income potential is based on their activity level, placement rates, and ability to assist clients. The average policy pay out ranges from $700 – $1,000 in commission.
Can an agent earn a higher compensation?
Absolutely. Agents have the opportunity to earn a higher compensation each month up to 120% based on their production! What is a lead?
A lead is generated when someone sends in a request by mail, phone, or internet search engine for services that Equis agents can provide. This system prevents agents from making cold calls and ensures they always have potential clients to contact!
How many leads does the average agent need?
